Owner and operator of Be Fit Gym. Michele is a former x-ray technologist of 16 years and found her true passion in life, making a career change. She has competed and placed top 5 in several Masters Division NPC figure competitions. With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, her specialties are weight training for women, youth fitness, combating obesity, and exercise nutrition. She is certified in personal training through WITS and holds other certifications in TRX, team training, group class instruction, certified Pound Pro, Boxing certified, BLS and AED.

Jennifer Hughes
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR AND PERSONAL TRAINER
Jen is has over 20 years experience as an RN with a background in pain management, emergency room, as well as surgical services. She is certified in personal training through the American College of Sports Medicine and she has been teaching group fitness classes for over 5 years. Whether you want to lose 30 pounds, sculpt your body, or simply stay active as you age, she can assist you in accomplishing your goals.

Megan is a front desk receptionist and part time gym manager. She will give you a tour of Be Fit, assist you with memberships as well as suggest a great trainer for your needs, and help schedule your appointments.

Angie Pry
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR AND PERSONAL TRAINER
Angie is an ACE certified personal trainer and group class instructor. When developing your personal training program, Angie will take in all aspects of your lifestyle to create an individualized program that will fit your needs to ensure your success. Angie is also a registered nurse. She is BLS, ACLS, PALS and trauma nurse certified. Angie has run races from 5K's to full marathons as well as participated in several figure competitions.

PERSONAL TRAINER/ COMPETITION TRAINING
Michael is a certified personal trainer with over 16 years personal training experience. He specializes in preparing fitness competitors for competitions. Michael is a combat veteran who served in the United State Marine Corps and has first hand knowledge of how the body can go further than the mind will gives credit. What the mind can conceive, the body will achieve. BLS and ISSA certified.

Leah Hartman
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Leah Hartman has been teaching in Northeast Ohio for several years. She is a Hatha yoga CYT-200. Leah’s yoga teacher training largely focused on the healing and therapeutic benefits of yoga, including restorative and trauma informed yoga practices and chakra energy healing. Leah is also experienced with Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga practices. She is a Yoga Unchained Facilitator, trained to help those who have been affected by trauma heal and become empowered through yoga practice, a Reiki Level I practitioner, and a doTerra Aromatouch therapy practitioner, and is currently completing her Inner Wisdom® yoga therapy certification at Awaken Yoga in Mentor, Ohio.

Kristin has over 25 years experience in the advertising and marketing industry. She is also a certified personal trainer through ISSA and has spent the last 5 years teaching group fitness classes and personal training.

Kate is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She offers personal training and she also teaches group fitness classes. Kate is a huge advocate for healthy living, and showing people just how great they can feel when they incorporate healthy eating, and fitness into their lives. Fitness means something different for everyone, and Kate realizes that a one size fits all approach will not work. She is a wife and mom, and understands the daily struggles of keeping up with life. She looks forward to seeing you in a class, or working on a more personal level with training.

DAYTIME FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Shirley will assist you with memberships, tours, and any information regarding our group fitness classes and our personal trainers. Her background includes being a former special education teacher, retail manager and baker’s assistant. Her passion and drive for fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle allows her to keep up with her 3 sons and various adopted fur babies. Shirley and her husband Keith have resided in Madison for 20 years.
Amy Nakel
Certified Personal trainer through ACE and teaches group classes
Amy began training with Michele almost 4 years ago, right after the birth of her second daughter. When the opportunity presented itself to join the staff at Be Fit at their front desk, she jumped at the chance. Amy’s background is in teaching and exercise has always been her passion. Amy has been a stay at home mom to her two girls, Eden and Emeila, and the wife of her crazy ultra-marathon running husband John. Her goal is to become a trainer and help change lives at Be Fit Gym.

FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Sydney is one of our Front Desk Receptionists who can assist you with your purchase of memberships, group classes, PT sessions, and merchandise. She can also give new clients a tour of the facility. Aside from her position at Be Fit, Sydney is a college student and also runs her own photography business!
